Enjoy five courses of locally-sourced and thoughtfully crafted dishes\, served with five unique ports\, including Taylor’s 20-yr old tawny\, and Fonseca’s ever-popular Bin 27 reserve ruby. Following dinner\, feel free to relax by our fireplace with a dram or a digestif.\n\n\nFounded in 1815\, Fonseca has been praised for consistently producing quality port for the last two centuries. This steadiness has long been driven by a tradition of family involvement\, as well as a close relationship with and respect for the vineyards\, and the environment. Fonseca was the first house to offer a port made entirely from organically produced grapes\, and continues to build a loyal community of enthusiasts for their impressive line of ports. \n\n\nTaylor’s has been producing port since 1692\, making it one of the oldest of the founding houses. Noted for their elegance and longevity\, over time Taylor’s has made itself the benchmark for vintage port production\, and holds one of the largest reserves of rare cask aged wines from which its distinguished aged tawny ports are drawn. The family distillery was sold in 1958\, but nonetheless\, after a long hiatus Sam Medley has brought back this much-beloved whiskey\, packaged with a near-identical label to their former 1950s bottling. \nSam will be here to share with us several whiskies from the Medley Brothers’ portfolio\, as well as educate us on the rich history of their bourbon. Fascinated by the whisky world’s rich history and heritage\, he has an extensive background in the world of distilled spirits. He worked for several years as a brewer\, mixologist\, staff trainer\, spirits educator\, and Assistant Beverage Manager for a large Pacific Northwest brewpub and hotel chain. When Breck is not talking or teaching others about whisky\, he can oftentimes be found enjoying another one of his passions: fly fishing for salmon\, trout\, and steelhead in the lovely rivers & streams of the Pacific Northwest. He also enjoys cooking\, cinema\, & spending time with his family and pets.\n\n\n\nBreck will be here to share with us a very special experience\, in which we will taste & observe the influence of ‘finishes’ to scotch. ‘Finishing’ Scotch Whisky in a Sherry\, Port or even Madeira barrel is now a somewhat established practice but rarely discussed in depth. In this unique session we will taste several Distiller’s Edition expressions from the Diageo portfolio\, paired with the corresponding ‘finish’. Her family owns an large estate steeped in tradition\, where they have been growing grapes for distillers for generations. Anaïs has a Viticulture and a Marketing & Management of Spirits degree from the premiere Business school in Bordeaux\, INSEEC\, and spends her time travelling the United States for Distillerie Tessendier\, educating folks about the wonderful collection of cognacs of Maison Park.\n\n\n  \nAnaïs will share with us several expressions created by Park\, includingPark Cognac VS\, Park Cognac VSOP\, Park Cognac Borderies Single Vineyard\, a special surprise\, and our very own Park Cognac MWL Private Barrel Borderies 18yr! While studying for his Master’s Degree\, Kieron began hosting a wildly popular university karaoke night\, which fueled his passion for performance\, a hobby that quickly turned into a career. Since that time\, Kieron has performed in a variety of mediums\, including acting\, comedy\, public speaking\, and voice acting\, as well as travelling the world promoting the exquisite line of The Macallan scotches.

Based out of Chicago\, she has since worked her way through all facets of the industry. But to say Robin is a talented individual would be an understatement. Not only does she have more than 20 years of experience in the industry\, but she dabbles in photography\, and has acted in numerous movies and TV series\, including Seinfeld! Robin now spends her time travelling for Beam Suntory\, educating folks all over on the amazing line of Auchentoshan whiskies\, and we are very excited to hear what she has to say! \nRobin will walk us through the core Auchentoshan line\, offering her own expertise and intricate knowledge of what makes this Scottish whisky stand apart.
