DESCRIPTION:The Library is excited to announce our upcoming \nGlenmorangie Signet pairing dinner \nat 7pm on Tuesday\, September 6th \nin our private Tasting Room! \n\nTuesday\, September 6th\n7pm\n$175/Members* \n$200/Public\n{ space is limited }\n\n\n\nGlenmorangie’s Signet\, which retails for over $200\, is a rare and voluptuous single malt\, matured in the distillery’s oldest and rarest casks that have spent between 30 and 40 years aging by the Dornoch Firth. It’s a unique dram made with dark roasted chocolate malted barley and aged in Spanish oak oloroso sherry barrels\, resulting in flavors of aruba espresso\, plum pudding and a myriad symphony of spice and citrus.\n\nWe will be joined by Travis Tidwell\, Brand Ambassador for Glenmorangie\, to offer his knowledge and insight on the range of Glenmorangie Scotches. Travis will taste us on the Original\, the Lasanta\, and the Quinta Ruban\, and finish the evening with their Signet\, all paired with unique and delectable courses\, created by our Head Chef\, Ben Grossmann. \nTo top the night off\, each guest will receive their very own bottle\nof Glenmorangie Signet to take home!\n\n  \n

SUMMARY:Meet Your Maker with Enrique Fonseca of Fuenteseca Tequilas
DESCRIPTION:Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca\, of Fuenteseca and Cimarron Tequilas\, was raised in the state of Jalisco\, Mexico\, where his family was contracted to produce agave for several of the world’s largest tequila producers. After the companies defaulted on their contracts\, Enrique decided to do the only logical thing when you possess a wealth of maturing agave: buy a distillery. After extensive research\, and a visit to Scotland\, Enrique devised a unique method of producing tequila with his unconventional alembic and column stills\, making a well-rounded and complex tequila\, which he continues to do to this day. \nEnrique will be joining us to present a tasting on the relationship between agave and wood\, as his Fuenteseca tequila is setting a new benchmark for experiencing the world of Anejo. Please join us in tasting and learning about several of the Fuenteseca Anejo tequilas\, with each age expression having a unique base blend of both pot and column non-diffuser agave distillates\, as well as differing cooperage and barrel finishes. Light bites will also be provided by our kitchen\, and following the experience\, we invite you to stay at the Library and enjoy a nightcap or two around our fireplace.

Enjoy five courses of locally-sourced and thoughtfully crafted dishes\, served with five unique ports\, including Taylor’s 20-yr old tawny\, and Fonseca’s ever-popular Bin 27 reserve ruby. Following dinner\, feel free to relax by our fireplace with a dram or a digestif.\n\n\nFounded in 1815\, Fonseca has been praised for consistently producing quality port for the last two centuries. This steadiness has long been driven by a tradition of family involvement\, as well as a close relationship with and respect for the vineyards\, and the environment.
