Eduardo, known to his friends as ‘Lalo’, is an enthusiastic agave specialist with a passion for promoting knowledge and understanding of these remarkable and complex libations made for generations in Mexico. Eduardo was born in Mexico City and his passion for Mezcal and Tequila brought him down the agave path at a young age. Now based in the Pacific NorthWest, Eduardo is an experienced importer of Mexican products such as Wahaka Mezcal, a unique line of spirits based in the Zapotec Highlands, with a focus on supporting the community and environment in which it’s made.

Eduardo will be here to share with us several expressions from Wahaka’s portfolio, including vino de mezcals, and an extra special surprise! Light bites will also be provided by our kitchen.  Following the tasting and lively round table discussion, we welcome you to stay at the Library and spend time at our fireplace for an additional dram or two.
