Distiller and winemaker Tad Seestedt of Ransom Spirits produces an iconic range of artisan spirits and wines at his Sheridan distillery, which he founded in 1997 with “a small life savings and a fistful of credit cards.” From vermouth to gin and a plethora of unique and finely tuned whiskies, Tad is a pioneer in the craft distilling revolution, and has grown his business into one of the finest and most-respected local distilleries available.

Tad will join us in the intimate setting of our private Tasting Room to provide insight and conversation on several pours from Ransom, including their Old Tom Gin, Henry DuYore Rye, and Emerald Batch #4 Whiskey. Light bites will be provided by Chef Ben Grossman, and following the tasting and lively roundtable discussion, we welcome you to stay at the Library and spend time at our fireplace for an additional dram or two.
