Robert Burns, born in 1759 and widely regarded as Scotland’s national poet, is celebrated worldwide for his massive volumes of poetry and lyrics, which were and still are hugely influential to Scottish culture and heritage. Known for being a pioneer of the romantic movement, he penned such classics as ‘A Man’s a Man for A’ That’ and ‘Auld Lang Syne’.  To commemorate Burns’s life and impact on Scottish identity, suppers are held around the globe on January 25th, the day of his birth.

Our celebratory Burns Supper will consist of five courses of traditional dishes of the British Isles, modernized for a progressive palette by Chef Ben Grossmann. Each dish will be paired with a cocktail, spirit, or unique Scotch whiskey from our collection, curated by Colin Howard. Alastair will be present to offer commentary and teach us all about the Scottish history and lore these spirits embody.  Join us at 6pm on the 25th for an evening of dining, drinking and toasting the great Ploughman Poet of Scotland!
