CLERMONT STEEP SINGLE MALT & BAKER’S BOURBON

Two distinct whiskies from the Jim Beam Distilling company.  Clermont Steep American Single Malt is distilled the Beam home place of Clermont, KY using their house jug yeast, Clermont Steep highlights the depth and complexity of a single grain: malted barley. This focused liquid was crafted by Freddie Noe, 8th Generation Master Distiller, Fred B. Noe Distillery, and it’s steeped in the culture of Kentucky and the Beam family tradition. This singular mash bill and provenance – aged five years in new oak barrels, toasted then charred to level #1 – yields a nuanced, complex liquid with a vanilla and caramel sweetness and smooth, unique, whole-grain notes of American barley.

Baker’s Single Barrel Bourbon is meant to be a singular experience.  Always aged a minimum of seven years and bottled at 107 proof, this big bold bourbon.  While notes of toasted notes, vanilla and oak are always present in Baker’s each bottle has a unique taste.

Members and their guests are invited to join us for a casual complimentary tasting of Hand Barrel Bourbon alongside small bites from the Multnomah Whiskey Library kitchen.
