Crafted in the Islay tradition, McCarthy’s Oregon Single Malt Whiskey is a remarkably smooth and balanced peated spirit. It begins with one-pass distillation in a Holstein Pot Still, followed by non-chill filtration, and is aged 3 years in air-dried Oregon oak barrels. McCarthy’s sought-after whiskey is one of Oregon’s finest, even being named the Whiskey Bible’s “Best Small Batch Whiskey” in 2004 and again in 2006.

The Multnomah Whisk{e}y  Library has teamed up with
this prestigious distiller to create the first and only of its kind:
MWL’s Single Barrel Park Cognac cask-finished McCarthy’s Whiskey!
The good folks at Clear Creek took their 3 yr McCarthy’s and aged it for two months in our Park Cognac 18 yr Borderies barrel. Each of only 300 bottles were then hand-labeled with the bottle and batch number, and will be available to you exclusively through the Multnomah Whisk{e}y Library’s feature list!

In over 24 years of production, this is the first and only
special bottling of McCarthy’s Single Malt in Oregon!
