Member Meetup – Spirits Enthusiasts / Buffalo Trace Prohibition Series Flight

THIS EVENT SPANS TWO DATES

Join us on either November 19th or November 20th from 4:00–6:00pm, for an unguided tasting of this year’s Prohibition Collection from Buffalo Trace. The flight includes a 1/2 oz pour from each of the five bottles comprising this years collection (2.5 oz total).

This experience is exclusive to the Members Lounge on November 19th and 20th.  Seating is guaranteed from 4-6pm. If you can’t make it between 4-6, you can join us in the Lounge later in the evening, however seating is first come first serve.

The Prohibition Collection is an annual release from Buffalo Trace that pays homage to brands that produced “medicinal” whiskey at the George T. Stagg distillery (now known as Buffalo Trace) during prohibition. In this third edition, the five 375ml bottles feature two traditional rye bourbons, one wheated bourbon, a rye, and an American whiskey ranging from 100 proof all the way up to a very rarely seen, 140.6 proof rye.

Though each of the bottles carries a vintage label from a long forgotten brand, the whiskey represents a unique blend of modern Buffalo Trace as opposed to a faithful recreation of past production. For fans of Buffalo Trace, it’s a chance to try unique, incredibly small batch blends of barrels that might otherwise have been bottled under brands like Weller, Sazerac, Stagg, and more.

THIS MEETUP IS OPEN TO MEMBERS ONLY, and we politely decline non-member attendees. Tasting notes and information on the pours will be given to attendees upon arrival.
