For the next installation of our Study Hall series the Library welcomes members and guests to join us for an exclusive tasting of Mezcal, sourced from Oaxaca and beyond. Take an in depth look into the broader world of this maguey spirit, reaching past traditional flavors and celebrating century old distillation methods.
MWL Spirit Curator and Education Manager Brett Adams will cover the history of Mezcal, distillation methods, and how the category of spirit has expanded. Guests will be guided through 7 pours, spanning several categories within Mezcal.
This will be in the Library’s Tasting Room – a single table for just six guests, making an intimate setting for curious questions and spirited conversation. Tickets include a welcome cocktail, featured flight, light hors d’oeuvres, and gratuity.
We hope to see you there!
