Scotch 101
featuring
Old Pulteney 15 yr – Glendronach 18yr – Highland Park 18yr – Ardbeg Drum
Our next study hall celebrates uisge beatha, the water of life, Scotch! Learn about centuries old distillation practices, historical figures, and the diverse landscapes that produce some of the highest rated whiskies in the world. We’ll travel from the Highlands, the Northern islands, and Islay to get a taste of what makes each region so unique.
Spirits Curator and Education Manager Kyle Sanders will be leading the class, with Chef Robert Kelley Providing light bites and hors ‘d’oeuvres. As the nights grow longer and cooler nothing is better than a nice dram by the fire surrounded by friends and family. So join us at the library for this special education on Scotch Whiskey and put life into water.
