Study Hall: Whiskey 101
WHISKEY 101
featuring 6 whiskies from around the world
Have you ever wondered how a grain becomes a liquid? What’s the difference between whiskey and whisky? How does a barrel impart flavor? Join us at the Library to learn all the basics at the next installment of our Study Hall series.
MWL Spirits Curator and Education Manager Brett Adams will guide guests through a six pour flight featuring single malt scotch, Irish pot still, bourbon, rye and more. Each pour will highlight a primary category of whiskey as we cover different styles of distillation, places of origin, and grain types.
To compliment the flight, light bites will be provided by our culinary team. Due to the nature of this event select seating will be communal. Seating requests provided with advance notice will be accommodated to the best of our ability.
We look forward to hosting you!
