Chelo Kitchen Takeover with Luna Contreras
The Library is honored to welcome Luna Contreras of Chelo
in support of Cascade Forest Conservancy.
This five part dining experience will celebrate traditional Mexican cuisine, as Chelo showcases street style snacks, pastries, and libations with whimsical playfulness. Cocktail and spirit pairings will be thoughtfully selected by MWL Education Manager & Spirit Curator, Brett Adams, with a special feature from guest bartender, Scout Caldwell.
A portion of each ticket will be donated to Cascade Forest Conservancy, supporting their mission to resist development efforts of a large, open-pit copper and gold mine in the Green River Valley, which lies at the border of the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. Their work continues to ensure natural resources are managed sustainably, critical habitats remain intact, and fight the impacts of climate change.
Private and communal seating will be available, requests will be accommodated depending on availability.
