The Medley Brothers’ delicious and affordable high-proof bourbon was originally produced by Wathen Medley in the 1940s in Owensboro, Kentucky, but the Medley family has been continuously operating a distillery since 1812, with the exception of Prohibition. The family distillery was sold in 1958, but nonetheless, after a long hiatus Sam Medley has brought back this much-beloved whiskey, packaged with a near-identical label to their former 1950s bottling.

Sam will be here to share with us several whiskies from the Medley Brothers’ portfolio, as well as educate us on the rich history of their bourbon. Light bites will also be provided by our kitchen, and following the tasting and lively round table discussion, we welcome you to stay at the Library and spend time at our fireplace for an additional dram or two.
